HUH?
So the picture wasn't that good because I moved my camera.
then, my ipod got ANGRY and wouldn't take the picture, but I think you get the idea.
The best part was the chubby latin baby. You can't see her in the picture, but it was great.

Brilliant
Am I turning into THAT mom that every drawing my daughter does is brilliant? Bear with me on this, because this is the first time I have noticed her do this.
We paint often at our house. She really enjoys it, and it keeps her hands busy. So she always asks, "what should I paint." This day I told her snow white.

Do you see here. Look for her yellow dress and blue top. She even put the ribbon in her hair, at my request. I didn't realize what she was doing at first. I thought it was pretty cool. This is the first time I have seen her look at something and try to paint what she sees. She's brilliant. What can I say!
(oh and on a side note, she like the card way more than she liked her valentines gift. this princess thing is a real illness.)

New Buddy
One of the nice things about having a 3 year old is that I have a lot of random conversations with random people.
For example, on the bridge this afternoon we met this young fellow. (sorry no zoom on the iphone).
He was country. He was really excited and that was HIS DOG. He said in a super strong twang "THAT DOG GOT RUNNED OVER WHEN HE WAS A PUP. IT WAS A CRITICAL SITUATION." just like that. a 4 year old was telling me it was a critical situation. He was also excited to see the "SEA GULLS. NO. NOT SEAGULLS. LAKE GULLS."
The thing that was so cool about him was that peanut instantly wanted to follow him. "i want to pet his dog." "I need to catch up." "That boy told us to run." She would tuck her head to her chest and run up the bridge as fast as her two feet wearing the wrong shoes could carry her.

Resolutions
It looks like we will finish the kitchen in February. This weekend we put the stainless, and Mr. T. tiled. We only need to finish out the tile, and hang the ventahood. Hurray we are so close.
I put the beer in the picture because I think I am going to give up alcohol for Lent. I might also give up sugar. It is really a two fold resolution because I think giving these things up will help me in my fitness goals. I realize Lent isn't about goals, but if it works...

Painting a Mermaid
We used a gift certificate this rainy Saturday morning to paint some pottery. (thanks Leigh!) Peanut, of course, wanted to paint a princess. When she saw this mermaid, she had to paint it. I thought we would have issues with leaving it to be fired, but she was okay with it. She did insist that we go back and get the tile that was the gift certificate when I walked out without it. "It's my birthday present. Momma, you forgot my birthday present."

Dinner Time
Here was our dinner. It is triple red stew.
And here is how I was able to get it done. I kept having to ask peanut to not take away BabyP's bowls and to play nice.

Follow Me.
Bossy McBoss-a-lot was telling dad that he needed to follow her. He kept telling her that he was too big to go down the slide, but there was no convincing her. She would say "You are not too big." I never heard her say it, but in my mind I hear her squeaky little voice and see her head bob from side to side in resistance.

Two PO'd kids
Who knew 3 o'clock on a Tuesday drew such a large crowd to the local Kroger? These two were not happy.

Baptism
Our friend's baptized their smallest child today. I love baptisms. They always bring a tear to my eye. I think there is something wonderful about coming together to love a small child. Congratulations to the Mayos and their newest bundle of joy.

Tubes
Here are my handsome men preparing for tubes. Well the littlest handsome man was. It went as well as could be expected. He nursed for a good 2 or 3 minutes before he started his crying fit. He cried for a long time.
He had a little fluid behind his ear, but the ear infection was gone.

A Bomb Went Off
Okay, not really... but it looks like it.
I had to do some work near Bull Shoals dam which took me right past my parents house. I was surprised to see all the tress broken. I have never seen damage like that to trees in the woods. I would expect some in free stranding tress like ours, but ones in the woods were all broken as well.
Notice all the limbs down.

beefy cheesy glory
I heard the tea at Mcdonald's was a good deal. It is.
If I had the money, I could have also picked up some beefy cheesy glory. What a weird weird slogan. Isn't it weird how the hamburger doesn't even look good in the ad?

If you think you are always late
this picture should make you feel good.
I would never keep a live tree in my house that long.
***as a foot note, i guess we do have one in our backyard. Why, when I asked to move it to the curb when we took it out of the house? Because it was easier to drag it to the back deck I was told.

GD2GRT
That is what this trucks license plate says.
One of the Generals sent around this message at work touting this book Good To Great. At the end of the message he asked us if we were on the bus. If you have ever read The Electric Cool Aid Acid Test, then you may remember the phrase "Are you on the bus?"
It means are you doing acid.

Desire
What do you want out of life? A new car? A nice house? A pretty family?
Baby P wants the dog bowl. This is the only thing that he will crawl too consistently. He won't even crawl to me! You put him within sites of the dog bowl and he is off to the races.

Look Familiar
Another or the same raging ear infection. Sigh... Poor Bear. It hurts my heart and makes me want to cry that we can't get him better.
