Pissed Off
Poor Baby P.
This whole crawling, turning and sitting thing can be a bit of burden for our poor boy. He can't seem to figure out that he is just too big to be trying to sit under the table.
Poor Bear. It looks like he is hurt in these pictures, but in reality he is just pissed off.
Speaking of pissed off. This is what happened when I wouldn't make peanut more popcorn. She got sent straight to bed with no stories. Well, I thought there would be no stories, but I hear her father in there now. He is so naughty.
She isn't a very pretty crier.

Celebration
The diploma showed up in the mail. It was nice to see it. I might even have it framed. It is funny to see 5 years of work all summed up in one little 8 X 10 certificate. It seems like it should at least be a little bit bigger.
Mr. T. said we could always take it to kinkos....

Crumb
I tried a new technique for making bread and ended up with one of the best crumbs I have had in a long time. The technique was way simpler than how I usually do it. Most of the time, my rustic breads require a starter of sorts that sits over night. For this bread, the whole dough sat over night in the refrigerator. The result was a chewy bread with big pockets of air and a thick crust.

No Playdates
Although you would have thought we were having one considering the number of Baby P's "friends" at the clinic today.
We now have RSV and TWO ear infections. poor bear. Unfortunately, he is not alone.
Luckily, sweet Baby P doesn't have a fever, and I think he might be on the up and up.

8 ounces
I left my milk in my purse last night. That is 8 ounces down the drain. Last week, I dumped 11 ounces down the drain. This is so frusterating.

Memphis
I went to Memphis with my mom and Jen.
And this other little fellow who refused to nurse negating the whole reason I brought him. I will probably have to pump before I go to sleep. Oh well, at least he wasn't drinking from my stash.

Tip Toe Dance
Madeline is doing the tip toe dance for Jen because she wants her bike back. She had tired of it, but when Jen was on it... WATCH OUT.
I liked taking the kids to the river to ride. Sweet Baby P was on my back while I chased down Peanut.

Blogger Challenge
The 21st photo from May. I loved this series. This was taken shortly before Baby P was born. We were finishing work on the kitchen. The weather was beautiful and we were outside enjoying a tofutti cutie before our bath.
Any question why we were outside?
She looks so young there. I challenge anyone else who is interested in the challenge.

Sunday Supper
My MIL bought a subscription to Gourmet. So here it is, roasted chicken with pancetta and olives.
I bought a giant chicken at Kroger on Manger's special. It was awful. The texture was the absolute worst. Maybe it was because I froze and thawed it so much. Anyway, I am sorry I used it in this dish. Luckily, there was a smaller chicken to accompany it.
bacon and wine. Two of my favorite ingredients.

Guess what! Another wonderful Day at work
So I was driving to a project site (or I guess, more accurately, I was knitting while my coworker was driving), and I saw this.
Come to find out, it was someone's dream home up in smoke. It sucked. I could see really tall flames coming out of the roof. And being a horrible person, I tried to get a better picture.
So then we came to our job site and I saw this.
and the contractor goes running past me with a phone to his ear saying "I will be with you in a minute. We have a fire."
Seriously. Two fires in one day. That is never what you want to hear you contractor say. Of course the first words out of my mouth were, "We didn't start this did we."
And as a parting gift here is some firefighting.
And thirty minutes later the fire department shows up.

So Big
I like this picture because even though you can't see her face, you can tell she is concentrating. I like that she is in focus and that the world isn't. The world also seems slightly off balance compared to her.

Cupcakes (2 kinds)
"Momma, I want Science Lady Cupcakes."
"These are Science Lady Cupcakes.""They are?", in a super excited voice. The kind of voice that just heard "These cupcakes have the magical power of Aerial and the whole science lady crew. You can have as much as you want."
Notice the splatters of food all up her sweet face.

SHIT
I had a whole set of pictures where Daisy took peanut for a walk, but this one is way better. Mr. T. is fixing a sewer pipe in the backyard. Notice the full face mask to protect against pieces of flying poo.
